After my last 2 batches both getting up to ~23 during fermentation, I've bought the bits to build a peltier based cooling system.

The one thing I still need to work out is a way of actually cooling the beer with the cold liquid. I have a fastferment plastic conical, so figured I probably need to do something through the lid. Has anyone done something similar? The pipe from the pump to the peltier is 8mm ID, so I need something that would connect with that.

Something like one of these would be perfect, but I can't find one in the UK.

Alternatively something like an 8mm barb - male thread on the outside of the fermenter, then a female thread - John guest on the inside, and a few metres of beer line sitting in the wort? I'm convinced such a thing would exist, but after a bit of googling I haven't so far managed to find the right combination of bits.
