My Maple Glazed Coconut Macaroon Imperial Stouts been ageing for a while now on Diplomatico Rum Oak. Not added the maple, coconut etc yet as only want to add them in the final week. But have a little idea and was wondering if you guys think this may work. I want to pump up the coconut flavour in this one as entering it into that National Home Brew comp. After letting it sit on toasted coconut for a week I was thinking of passing it through my HopRocket before going into the keg. But the hop rocket will be filled with freshly toasted coconut. Do you think this would boost the flavour or a waste of time. Jut every drop of stout will pass through the coconut, thats my thinking anyhoo.
