How long would you expect a sodastream canister to last?

I like ale - so usually carbonate my Cornelius kegs to about 10 - 12

Each gas canister only seems to last one 19L keg

This doesn't seem right

What do you think?

I get two 19l corny kegs but I naturally carbonate and just serve with the gas cannister at 10psi.

Yeah I went down this route when I first started, soon ran out. I switched very quickly to a 10 Litre Gas Cylinder, £30 per refill, but lasts far longer.

Search Google for your local area. 6.35kg CO2 beverage gas, see what comes up. Places which deal with other gases generally stock it. Sometimes welding suppliers.

You'll have to either buy the cylinder or rent it. Then pay for refills. I have just paid £50 for a cylinder and around £17 refills.
