How much water?

I have been making wine for about 3 months and have had good results with WOW’s. I generally use about 3 litres of juice, 1 ltr of water boiled to dissolve the sugar and a little more water to top up when it slows. Most recipes seem to indicate 2 to 2 1/2 litres so around 50/50 water to juice. What is the norm? I tend to use 2 jars runny honey and 300 grams sugar. We like quite sweet and my WOW’s are more like fortified wine
 
I use 1.5 litres of apple juice and 1 litre of Red Grape Juice for a Rose style wine there is no right or wrong try it with 3 litres and if its too strong drop it next time. :thumba:
