Hi Guys, I am very new to brewing. just trying to ferment a 1 L of malt food drink with extra added sugar with bakers instant yeast. been just 12 hours the stuff is already bubbling and tastes of alcohol. I guess the malt extract and added vitamins making the yeast happy. my question is the energy drink powder has ingredients : Malt extract, skimmed milk powder, palm oil, sweet whey powder, maltodextrin, calcium carbonate, iodized salt, magnesium phosphate, sodium carbonate, vitamins, soy lecithin, ferric pyrophosphate can any of these turn into some sort of nasty poison during fermentation to kill me?
