Hi
I'm about to return to home brewing after a 30 year absence, give or take the odd dalliance about ten years ago. I made bitter from kits as a teenager, though the staff at my local Boots weren't sure they should be selling home brew kits to me at fifteen!
I moved on to Dave Lines book - Brewing Beers like those you buy- and fiddled with adjuncts and Ingredients that were hard to get in the early eighties but I had a good home brew stockist within cycling distance. I made more wine as time went on, especially things that came in gluts -damsons were a good one. Then I went to uni and largely gave up.

Fast forward to now and I am living in central Scotland and seriously missing a decent (English)pint. So I thought I'd try and make some of my own, nothing complicated just a kit or two and see how it goes!
