is this a proper way to 'pour' a pint?

If you search youtube you will see these beer sommeliers who show different types of pours that style will stop oxidation would be their reply
 
I can see the oxidation advantage, but this is in a glass that will be emptied within half an hour, normal pouring would not make much of a difference then imho.

And it looks... weird ._.
 
I had a few of these at events iv'e been to and yes they are quick and set up right do not overfill or overfoam

True, but those 'glasses' look very pricy and proprietary and you'd have to change ALL the beer glasses, and cleaning them would be more of a pain.
