I stupidly started another MYO rose` kit on 20th July in the middle of that really hot weather we had. Within hours of adding the yeast it was bubbling away. Its has stayed really frothy on top so I have been stirring it pretty regular. I started with OG of 1.090 Since the 29th it has stuck at 1.010 with still loads of froth (see pic) It looks revolting but smells and tastes ok.

So yesterday I decided after doing a bit more reading up I would give it a good stir up with my drill and degassing wand. Bad news is that it is still just as frothy on top today but it has moved down a few notches on the hydrometer. 😊

Has anyone else experienced this?
is there anything else I can do? (I know it can be a waiting game)
or does it look like its gone bad?

any advise truly appreciated as usual athumb..

It's only been going for 2 weeks. A wine kit takes 3 to 4 weeks to finish fermenting. You're risking ruining it with all that stirring.

This is the 4th kit of this make I've made and never had the froth like that before but will take heed and not stir anymore 👍

Some yeasts froth something chronic.
its nothing to worry about though it can be a bit inconvenient.

As cwrw666 says just leave it alone to do its own thing. It will subside soon.As it goes into secondary fermentation.
