Jamesb has given me a bottle of his forum beer to try :D

Great label

Nice and clear in the bottle
Very little sediment, well compacted
Good hiss on opening

Not a good aroma on opening :(
There was some rather dark brown yeast residue under the crown cap

Very little head
High carbonation
Burnished gold colour

Very clear, polished, easily passes the feck test

Resiny hop aroma

Initial malt sweetness leading to a long lasting dry bitter finish with a lasting bitter bite.
It was rather reminiscent of a very bitter Pilsner
All said a nice beer which would be well suited for drinking with a good curry :thumb:

Yes, I noticed that. The stuff out of the cornie smells a lot better. I don't know why :wha:

High carbonation

Yep. Too much for me.

Cheers TS

I wasn't that impressed with it myself. It was based on this recipe. The original is far superior.

If anyone else wants a bottle, give me a shout.
