He seems to pop up from time to time on TV and seems a decent bloke in fact he was on the Chase Christmas charity special we watched a few nights ago.

Pop star Jimmy Osmond is being treated for a stroke that was diagnosed after he came off stage following a pantomime performance on Thursday.

Osmond, 55, was playing Captain Hook in Peter Pan at the Birmingham Hippodrome.

His spokesperson said the star went to hospital after "pushing through" the evening's performance. There are no further details about his condition.

He is part of the famous Osmond family and had chart hits including 1972's Long Haired Lover From Liverpool.

He must have made enough by now ..you think he'd pack it in and relax a bit.
    But....oh no he won't!

I may be wrong but assume playing Captain Hook in Peter Pan isn't going to tax him too much i guess the old saying "There but for the grace of God go I" fits perfectly here.

How about those 3 nuns sat on a park bench when a streaker ran past? 2 had a stroke, but the other couldn't reach. Lol etc etc.

I'm glad the title of the thread wasn't Jimmy Osmond Had a Stroke, otherwise I'd have thought, "Eyup, another Operation Yewtree target" :D
