I have read that and I am fine with the connection to a keg. It is the positioning of the pump on the keezer/kegerator I am interested in. It would be good to see some examples if there are any. Or does everyone mount it separately on a table at the side for instance.

I think it depends on the pump. The ones I have seen seem to clamp to a surface so need a bar type surface to attach to.
My keezer is a converted chest freezer and it isn't possible to attache one to the lifting lid as it would impede access to the keezer.
Wherever I put my keg and CO2 source I will need to build something to mount the pump that is stable enough to remain upright when I pull a pint.
My solution is to build a separate cabinet which will house the co2 bottle (to add weight) and have a surface on top to mount the pump on. The co2 bottle is already outside the keezer with a feed into the keezer so that is not a problem any beer line to a keg in the keezer will just follow the co2 line.

Thanks for the heads-up, was looking for a fermentation fridge. Not a massive discount, but still cheapest I've seen a fridge of that size. Now, to hide it from my partner somewhere... It would fit under the stairs, but no power in there - and with a 1 year old I don't really fancy trailing cables. Maybe if I just put it next to my keezer she won't notice

Sorry to hijack your thread @JohnnyRobbo, but to update the fridge from Elek Direct turned up today. I originally ordered a 89l fridge, but after pressing order realised that wouldn't be big enough so replaced that with a 134l one, it's the perfect fit.

I have my pressure set to 1 bar like brewers friend suggested but I’m getting 2/3 beer and the rest foam. My father in law asking me if I want a flake in that, whilst conjuring memories of Melanie Sykes in the 90s, is starting to wear a bit thin!

Are my beer lines too long?

I would of thought that shortening your beer lines would make the problem worse. I think it is advisable to have 3/16 lines between your kegs and taps, that's what I have and only had a problem with excessive foaming if I have overcarbed the beer by attempting to crank the pressure up and roll the keg method

Jumping in on this rather than starting a new thread... I'm looking for an under counter fridge that will house 2 corny kegs. Been to see a few advertised on Facebook but they've all been a fraction too small. Anyone know of a make and model that will fit 2 (I don't mind a little modding if needed)?

Whilst I can’t help with a fridge recommendation, I would suggest it’ll be easier to fit 2 of the new slimmer, taller cornies in an undercounter fridge

If you are feeling brave You can drill holes through your kitchen wall and into a under counter fridge.

The Hotpoint RLA36 variants and the earlier RLA34 are brilliant, although people advertising used fridges often don't give the model number, which in this case is on curved chrome above the door. Pictured with the newer, taller kegs but also takes the older fatter ones.

Any recommendation for the best magnets to fasten the drip tray to my Keezer? Originally glued on bolts ( at the wrong height and subsequently it got knocked off). Bought some small rare earth magnets off Amazon but they don’t have the beef to hold the tray in place.
Suggestions…

I’m surprised the rare earth magnets won’t work. I have a few and they are very ‘sticky’

Try some wider ones like 25mm or so.

Rare earth magnets salvaged from hard disk drives. They really stick.

I bought 2 of these disposable gloves holder but screwed them to the wall. I glued the magnets that came with them (8 total) to my drip tray and it holds solid. 4 would probably still hold it fine.

I haven't came across that one, but it's model number suggests it's similar. If you could possibly get the seller to photograph (or a least inspect) the inside without the bottom tray in place you'd know if the compressor housing doesn't cover the whole width on the cabinet - a feature I haven't seen on other models. Also, overall width is 590mm, maximum internal width 500mm.
