Hi!
I used a QMax cutter to make the hole in my SS HLT. It's sitting in my oddments drawer at the moment.
If you would like to borrow it, send me a PM.
I found that my tap (not Banggood) leaked slightly so I cut a washer out of a silicon cake "tin" and it no longer leaks.
There are also cheaper ball valves ($16.98) on Banggood.

Hi

Thanks for the advice and the offer of the offer of the cutter. I am actually in two minds as to what to do as I saw a few decent stainless boilers in Macro today but I think they were excluding the lids which when added to the cost along with the valves cost I am not sure how much of a real saving it will be.
Even more so as I just saw this.

Saves the hassle I suppose.

Thanks anyway, I will have a think.

Cheers

Pete
