I am looking to brew a Coopers IPA and I want to add toasted coconut - any thoughts on when I should add it and how much?

Was thinking of around 200gm at the same time as dry hopping but would adding at the start of fermentation be better.

Thanks all

I just did a coconut wheat beer. I used fresh coconut for the first time, no toasting, no drying.
After primary fermentation was done I added 8 ounces (224 grams) to a 2.5 gallon (9.5 liter) batch.
I really like the way it turned out, the coconut was perfectly balanced with the wheat. The only issue is the head disappears pretty quickly. The bottom photo is the f v after racking to the bottling bucket.
