Kit malt

Been wondering about malt u get with kits is it plain malt or pre hopped
How is the flavour introduced
Is it just the dry hop that makes the difference
Any one know what the story is

I think it’s wort that has been concentrated and has all the hops added already and you basically add water to rehydrate it. A bit like orange cordial.
Dry hop will be like any other added when fermentation is near complete.

Kit malt as in liquid malt extract (LME), with kits like Wherry and the like? Yes they are pre-hopped. Dunno how they do it.

You can also buy "vanilla" LME that you boil and hop yourself.
