Have now picked up another bit of kit towards my all grain brewing adventure. So I paid £20 for the 2 pots on a previous thread and now I just got this 3000kw induction hob off Facebook for a tenner, and it works.
I tried putting a video of the boil but it's too big a file. I was only wondering as it boils quite vigorously then the thermostat kicks in then boils vigorously again on about 10 seconds cycles. I'm only testing it with the small pot to see if it worked. Do you think it will be OK when I use my bigger pots with more volume. The glass hot plate is 28cm x 28cm and my pots are 36cm, is it OK to over hang?

I think with induction hobs it's the pot base material that's important. Solid is better than made up of layers. Any pot should have a squiggle symbol to indicate it's suitable. Not sure about overhangs though 🤔
