Think the lib Dems tried to comprise with the Tories and didn't go so well.

Thats a much larger and nuanced discussion, historically junior partners in coalitions do badly, the lib dems got absolutely stiffed by the same propogandists that had people believe that Corbyn was a marxist etc etc in my opinion.

Oh, sorry!

Please list the Tories who have compromised in the last forty years!

How about the one that said “This woman is not for turning!” and sent General Pinochet a bottle of whisky when he was arrested in the UK for murdering thousands of his own people.

Compromise? Sorry but once they profess to be a Tory they are usually way past “compromise”!

BTW, funnily enough many Tories have been “compromised”; which is something that they have denied vigorously until further evidence surfaced.

I cannot be alone in remembering Jonathan Aitken, a Tory Politician, demanding “The sword of truth!” before being destroyed by it!

I'm not wasting my Saturday evening defending tories thanks!

I mean, to be fair whilst I didn't say it, I was talking about politicians on the democratic spectrum, there is no compromise with people such as Stalin, Hitler, Putin et al.
I disagreed that Tory Politicians are on “the democratic spectrum”!

This belief is based on listening to many of them and witnessing the personal avarice and damage that they have brought to the UK.

I don't really care who wins. Sooner they go the better as far as I'm concerned. As for the TV debate it meant nothing myself and millions more have no say in who gets the job.
All I can say is who ever wins I hope they pull the party apart like Johnson did and we see them gone for years.

Yes I know Boris surrounded himself with lesser talent than his ( which you have to give him some credit as that can't be easy!) but what about the wider party - is there really nobody better than these?
I'm starting to think they want to lose the next general election just to have rest.

It’s privilege over intelligence that gets them positions of power and loads of money.
