Has anyone used the Lifestraw water filtration product on their homebrew? The product was originally for humanitarian use but markets seem to have expanded. I was thinking of either looking at the siphon to see if it generated enough suction. I expect I might then need to carbonate the beer?

Alternatively I could drink homebrew beer through the thing might be a tad ecentric!

I can only assume it will block up very quickly.

I haven’t read anything about them but I doubt it’s designed to take out that much material, just to make contaminated water into potable water.

Yeah looking at the YouTube videos the straw cannot do milk. The Lifestraw mission though looks a better bet - seems to have a pre filter. Think I could brew in the 12L and looks to even have a bottling wand ! Flow rate might be too low I think (seems to be quoted as 9L /hr theoretical). Not cheap either.
