    Hi Guys,
I am currently setting up a home bar for draught lager.

how often should I clean the lines once a week? or once a month and between keg changes?

I have a 5litre pressure bottle to connect to keg coupler for cleaning, can anyone recommend what type of line cleaner to use and where to purchase from?

which is better from cleaning pressurized using gas or a manual system?

    Cheers :drink:

I clean through my lines when I change a keg. I use PBW solution, mix up a couple of liters, run half though (I use the cleaned keg that came off under CO2) leave 10 mins then flush the rest through. Rinse through with water and job done.

I can't answer all your questions but my missus runs a pub and she cleans her lager/ale lines weekly but the cider lines every other week (because the acid in the cider helps to keep it cleaner).

Thanks that's helps a lot, I have heard similar methods but from people who don't do home brew/bars so wasn't sure. I'll get some line cleaner on order!

    appreciate the reply. Cheers:drink:

Hi Ftomivec, can you tell me about your pressure bottle and how it connects to the keg coupler. I have a Sankey coupler and need to clean lines for the first time.
