On line I think I have seen a good offer ie ...1.2kg Bag of LME for £5.45...I was thinking making a Brew with two bags which would obviously be 2.4kg.
If doing this how much (brown sugar) would u recommend be added?
I also plan adding 100g of hops to this 40 pint batch. It will come to a total of £17.49 which works out at 43.7p a pint.
I read in newspaper yesterday pints could be going up 50p making some places in London over £7 a pint. To me that is eyewateringly expensive. I am therefore producing approx 16 pints of beer containing 2.4kg of malt and 100g of hops for the price of 1 pint!!!!
No wonder I love this hobbie....

Do you have a rough guess or estimate of what my ABV would be if using.
A. 1/2kg brown sugar
Or
B. 1kg brown sugar?
