When I tried this kit I wasn't sure what to expect as I had never tried anything by magnum before. The kit was an absolute doddle to make. The instructions called for 3.5kg of sugar but I used 3.8 by mistake. Made to the full 23 litres (although I only got 28 bottles out of it not 30) and I was absolutely blown away by how good it turned out. Even my wife and mother in law who have never liked anything I've brewed ever loved it. A nice light refreshing and pleasantly dry and acidic white of about 10% abv will be making it again.

Nice to know, im fairly new to all this and been trying all the cheapo kits so i'll have a bash at this :)

I would definitely up the sugar a bit from 3.5kg as 3.8kg only ended up as ten percent abv. Although next time I make it I may also brew it slightly short to say 21 litres as a lot of people seem to recommend this with the magnum kits.
