Hi All,
Could someone please explain to me why some MJ kits ask you to add 700g pure malt enhancer and other suggest 1.2kg, is it simply lighter ABV kits need less, versus others with a higher ABV that need the full 1.2kg?
I have just received an APA recipe no.11 that states either 600g dextrose or 700g enhancer to add. As it happens, I think MJ enhancer only comes in either 600g pouches or 1.2 kg. I have a 1.2kg pouch which if I add will be double the 600g suggested. If using a 600g pouch of enhancer, will this be enough?
Whilst on, MJ seem to have liquid malt enhancers and liquid malt extract, could someone please explain the difference?
