Mangrove Jacks LME.

Can anyone shed any light on the difference between the Mangrove Jacks Liquid Beer Malt Enhancer 1.2kg and the Pure liquid Malt Extract 1.5kg, apart from weight?!
The 1.2kg product is nearly half the price of the other.

Having a guess here, i would say the malt enhancer is like the dry you can get in wilko's it is dry malt extract and dextrose mixed as opposed to pure dry malt extract, hope this helps

Good question and one I too am curious over this. I generally add the 1.2kg because a) it’s cheaper and b) the pack advises adding 1.2kg so don’t see why you would a) want to pay more for the same product and b) end up throwing away .3kg of the product!
Thats enough a) and b) from me!

I had some of the malt enhancer a while ago. Said 100% pure malt extract on the pack.

No idea why the 1.5kg pack is called malt extract and the 1.2kg is called malt enhancer
