You're welcome to, will take a score penalty as (I think) outlined in the rules.

But happy to review and feedback on it.

Cheers wfr42 and congrats to acbev and jc3g316. Glad you liked the coconut IPA. It's an unusual beer.

I have to ask... Goatmeal Stout? How many goats did you use? :-)

I'd also like to know how you ground them too! Or were they added whole...

One goat during the boil should suffice. Gives it a nice cheesy flavour.

Here's the recipe. You will probably notice I substituted goats for cocoa nibs.

    Batch size: 25L
    Efficiency: ~82%
    OG: 1.057
    FG: 1.008
    ABV: 6.4%
    IBU: 35

    Fermentables
    4kg Stout malt
    0.5kg light crystal
0.25kg rolled oats (I used porridge oats)
    0.25kg flaked barley
    0.25kg chocolate
    0.25kg black

    Hops
    20g Herkules @ 60min
    30g Cluster @ 5 min

    Extras
60g cocoa powder 10 mins in the boil
500ml of filter coffee just before bottling
150g roasted cocoa nibs 10 days in secondary.

    Yeast
    WLP005 British ale.
