Marking perspex/acrylic tubing - anyone have any advice?

Hi guys,
I'm using clear acrylic rigid tubing as a sight level for my vessels.
I've gone through the process of filling the vessels with water using a measuring jug (long job) and have ended up with a masking tape type ruler indicating the volumes.

I want to convert these measurements into permanent markings on the tubing.
I'm considering either attacking the tube with a Dremel and permanent marker or possibly using a plumbing pipe cutter to score a ring at the required points.
Before I bugger it all up, has anyone any history of doing this?

I used these and put some clear heat shrink tubing over them to help protect them. Worked a treat.

I want to convert these measurements into permanent markings on the tubing.

Do you know anyone that has a Dymo label printer like This (link) or does work have one, really easy to type numbers or lines and different fonts etc.

@LeeH Thanks for the link to the brewbuilder stick on solution, it looks spot on!
I'd seen similar but they had been a pre marked sheet.

@Banbeer I do have a dymo printer.... It's old but if it can print small enough it'll do fine.

Just a bit of feedback, I went the dymo tape and clear heat shrink route.
I also added some stiff paper for the back of each tube under the heat shrink to aid visibility.

Did my first AG brew today and the scales worked a treat!

Just trusted the jug to be honest, I didn’t consider the diameter of the tube vs the diameter of the vessel warranted any better accuracy.

I’ve gone G40 now anyway

Night and day. The old system was a DIY HERMs combo.
The real real estate needed, cleaning speed and temperature control is vastly improved.
