Hi everyone, need some help!

I just got a bottle of 70/30 and a kegland mk4 mixed gas regulator, but I cannot for the life of me get the regulator to screw into the gas bottle properly. It won't budge after going into the thread about halfway and then gas is leaking. Am I missing a washer of some kind or has anyone got any advice? Thanks

Sounds very much like a thread mis-match? There are thread differences between countries. Threads attaching directly to cylinders often have "metal to metal" seals so as not to rely on rubber (and the like) seals which could extrude under the high pressures (mixed gas cylinders hold compressed gas at 2000-3000PSI, not conveniently low pressure liquid gas like CO2).

I ended up calling a gas company and they said there should be a back washer in place which wasn't included with my regulator. I put it on and it seems to be working for now
