Picked these up in Waitrose today. Don't normally buy beer, but I noticed that whilst the quantities aren't given (pity), the label does impart more detail than normal. Whilst it is not as detailed as some american beers, at least it is a step in the right direction, and one that I feel should be encouraged. What do others think? Could we get to a point where we could have enough info on the label to have a decent stab at maing those we like ourselves?
I have emailed the breweries concerned, congratulating them on their labeling and also requesting even more detail. Who knows if enough of us email them, perhaps they will give us what we want!

I think all beers should contain the full ingredients, just like food labels do.Why,when you go into a pub and ask a question "does this beer contain Wheat" they look at you as if you just walked in from living on the moon. But if you go into Wetherspoons they provide you with a binder and all the contents of all beers they have.

I'd be quite happy with. ..full grain bill split into %. Mash temp and time..boil time...hops used, addition, amount,ibu....

In an attractive little booklet, hanging around the neck of the bottle on a cord? All kidding aside, would be cool.

Well the bottom one at least has the volume on - 33cl
Top one must as well but you've not got all the label in the picture. It's a legal requirement.

Woops, I see, quantities of ingredients. Duh...
