So,
Who tried To Øls Mr Blue 2019 version? What a wild but amazing beer. I found it amazing to pair with cheese boards - particularly blue cheeses and stinky mould ripened goats cheeses.
Anyway, I want to brew a clone.
For those who don't know it, it was a fairly divisive beer - 10.1% blackcurrant imperial stout. It's roasty, fruity, tart (bordering on sour) and bright, deep purple. I'm not sure if it's soured with a culture, or if it's just the tartness of the fruit.
Anyway, I've looked online for recipe ideas and haven't found any clues. My only incline is that it probably has chocolate or midnight wheat in.
So... Any ideas of where to start?
