Well, I harvested my first ever hop crops yesterday. Not Overly sure if this was too soon or too late but afterwards my fingers were very sticky and smelt pretty good so I assume that is a good thing. I ended up with three trays, one Centenial and two Fuggle. It tried to dry them a bit in the oven on the defrost setting, so with just the fan on, but two hours later they looked and felt the same as when I put them in so just bagged into freezer bags, squeezed out as much air as I could and froze them.

If they were sticky and smell good, then that sounds about right. They should also feel a little crispy/crunchy in your fingers - not totally dry, but on the way. They look good, I look forward to hearing how the beer turns out!
