U sure can I used to add lme a couple of liters of water to a pot and simmer with hops made some decent beer I tried generous dry hopping also without cooking got some good ones slsoCould you use the MJ LME x3 I.e. 3.6kg to make a drinkable beer, just adding spare hops and yeast?
It’s a great cheap way to try building your own brew, I’ve done this for a few small batches, tried out different yeasts, hops for boil and dry etc, add in a few grain additions. All of them have been very drinkable, a few very good! (IMHO).Have you tried doing it or is that opinion?
Ideally brew it at higher temps, around 30º will give the best results but you can brew it anywhere from 20º to 40º. At the lower end of the scale fermentation will take longer. As a relative newbie, I've heard the tales of kveik - what conditions would be suggested for brewing the Kveik IPA?
