New member old brewer

New to the site, but have been brewing for nearly 20 years. I like the basics and stick with what I know but like to expect once in a while.
I do historical reinactment English Civil War and would love to try some of the period recipes I have but don't have the necessary equipment or money so I'm sticking with the fermentation bin

Hi welcome. I'm sure that the equipment they had back in those days wasn't to extravagant or thecnical, then again I may be compleatly wrong, what is it your recipes call for?

Well I only have a fermentation bin, so mead and stuff like that is easy. But things like beer would require the full set up.
