Opened Malt Extract

Sometimes I wish I read things more carefully. I’ve bought a Mangrove Jacks and wanted to read the details so I opened the packet upon which I discovered that it wasn’t a separate packet for the malt extract.
I’m due on holiday next week so either I store the malt extract and mix it into a barrel just before we go
Or I barrel today and add the dry hops a day early regardless of SG.

what would you recommend??

If you store the extract in an airtight container in the fridge it won't come to any harm

Or see if your wife will let you pack it all in a case and brew whilst on your holidays

But before you ask her, I have just one question - what blood group are you?

Yeah, airtight method will do.
I don't use the LME anymore but if I did and I had a similar situation, I would get it warm and then into a zip-lock bag (squeezing out the air).
