Hi all read all the bits on how to use my pb
But I'm worried about carbonation I have 10 8gr bulbs
Would i be better off to use sugar or the bulbs

I normally use 2.5 to 3 g per 500ml in bottling so should I multiply buy 40 say for 20 l batch

You need the gas to push it out??
I only read about leaks and maintenance
Looks like I have more to go

Once primed, after a couple of weeks at room temperature (18-20C) your beer should be carbonated and PB pressurised to allow dispensing. As you drink more beer :beer1:the pressure in the barrel will drop. At some point you might find the flow is very slow. If you continue to pour you might reduce the barrel pressure to the point that air is drawn into the barrel which can spoil your beer. So before you get to that point pressurise the barrel with one of your bulbs.

As you can see this on is on it’s last legs, I have used no gas yet
