Looking at using this yeast for a 60 litre batch. I'm using the pitch rate calculator in Brewfather which says 5 packets, but it also thinks there are 13 billion cells in an 11g pack. According to the Lallemand website and technical data for the yeast it suggests (if I'm reading things correctly) that an 11g packet contains 5 billion cells. When I dial this into the Brewfather calculator it suggests 12 packets, which sounds a huge amount...5 packets sounded high to me as I'm used to one 11g packet for a 20 litre batch with no issues so far. The Lallemand pitch rate calculator seems to be offline at the moment.

The beer has an OG of 1.059 and I'll be adding dry (so no rehydration or starter)

Anyone got experience of this yeast and can advise?

Thanks
