Today i went out for corks, to bottle my strawberry wine, they had none in stock, so i had to buy some of those plastic, reusable corks.
Yes i know they are unprofessional, but i wondered, since the wines now bottled, can i take out the plastic, and recork with a proper cork, say, in 4 days, 6 tops?
Or would the wine be ruined if i did that?
Thanks for all help on this one!!

:hmm: i'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong

i'd say that popping it off for a brief moment to recork it would be fine, but why would you? those plastic corks (if i'm thinking of the same ones) are said to be able to let a wine breathe just as much as a traditional cork.
