I regularly swap beer on the forum. Currently I use royal mail second class to post a small parcel. It's usually 3.20 for under 2kg. I have started to use PET bottles if possible as it cuts the weight down.
So if I was looking to post 5 or 6 glass bottles in one shipment what is the best and most cost effective way. Royal prices increase rapidly once you go above the 2kg limit.

I can't answer specifically, but when posting over 2kg I look to Interparcel.

They sell off spare slots across different carriers.

*EDIT: And you can save yourself 5p or so on Royal Mail if print postage at home.

We use Parcel2Go quite a bit (both work and personal). They pretty much undercut Royal Mail across the board....
