The price of brent crude today is $117-00 dollars a barrel petrol is £1-92 a litre, just before covid a barrel cost $119-00 petrol was £1-17 a litre, time to sit up and take notice
Funny how things compare, our petrol price is half of yours, utilities a bit less than half, our weekly grocery bill for a family 4 is about 60% more (and Australia has a food surplus!) our median house price is double that of median house price in the UK. And on brewing gear ours is about half of what you are paying in the UK, though the grain is slightly dearer here.

The old saying nothing is free come's to mind, gov is recouping all the money that was dished out during covid, people need to open their eye's
