Having already racked off a lager into a clean FV can you batch prime by adding the sugar syrup to the beer or do you have to rack the beer onto the syrup?
it doesn't really matter, but it makes more sense to rack off onto the sugar, but you would still need to stir gently. so yes just add your sugar solution and then give it a gentle stir and bottle.
