From observation, not having Royalty won't change that sense of entitlement. We are soaked in it here. Anyone with enough money can behave that way.

"A sex offender, especially one who is guilty of sexual offences against children." That's UK slang from what I Googled.
Edit: If I'm not figuring out measurements, I look up a fair amount of words. I also did not know what that word meant.

From a tourism point of view, it's undeniable that they are a significant part of our culture and heritage and I might imagine that if they were stuffed and mounted (not an invitation, Andrew) and housed safely in the V&A or, better, the Natural History Museum, they would provide amusement and wonder for countless generations to come.

A stuffed and mounted animatronic Prince Andrew that harasses teenage girls if they get too close = profit.

I think it was made up by the writers of EastEnders...
    As in..."Oi! Nonce!"

I think your right in it being London slang, but Ive heard it used in other programmes/films too (I seem to remember Kathy Burke using it , and she's a right proper cockney bird)

One of my favourite uses is in Phoenix Nights when they have the clairvoyant Clinton Baptiste on in the club and he says to that big bald chap..
" I'm hearing one word... NONCE!"
and the chap bashes him.. class!!

Time to clear the whole lot out and have a Rebublic. The Queens children haven't got a brain cell between them. Watch the Windsors.

I haven't heard the term in a while, I 1st heard or read it in a book I read around 30 years ago (just checked it was published in 1986 but set in the 70s true story Killing Time by Noel Fellowes) and in prison it referred to and sex offender including most commonly rapists. Back to Andy I just watched this

The guy i it is a big conspiracy theorist but also does great on the ground journalism so take any opinion parts with a pinch of salt but I think the jist of its about right.
