At £3.99 for a can of concentrated starter medium (wort) to be diluted to a litre. Seems to save little time as all the equipment still needs to be washed and sterilised. I was thinking of marketing a sterile, disposable, plastic spoon in a cellophane bag to stir it with. £ 1.50 a spoon about right, do you think? Or am I doing myself down.

In fact I might just start offering bottles of ready-brewed beer, ready to uncap and drink. Would cut out all these preliminary and troublesome steps.

A kilo of DME costs about a fiver which is good for 10L of starter wort, why would someone pay 4 quid for 1 litre's worth?
