Hivemind... I need to get raspberries for tomorrow for my Raspberry wheat.

Used to be able to get frozen for dirt cheap, not anymore it seems.

Recipe calls for 3.2kgs of frozen... I'm thinking of cutting that to 2kgs but pureeing them instead of putting in whole. (The puree and whole berries will be going in to Lidl "hop bags" so trub is not too much of an worry

Anyone see any issue with this?

Does it have to be for tomorrow? You’re probably too late for Amazon Prime but I’ve used cocktail puree/coulis with great success. The Carte Dor one I used is out of stock but the have the Funkin’ ones in stock if you can wait an extra day.

I suppose Friday would be OK. The beer was made last Thursday and I typically throw the raspberries in after a week to sit for another 7 days

Trying to find an alternative to having to buy tiny bags of frozen for an exorbitant price
