Hello all
A bit of a user upper....please have a look and see what you think...

Brown Porter
Part mash
2.1 kg maris otter
350g crystal
225g caramel 60l
140g chocolate
1.5 kg coopers dark malt extract

Mash 67°c for 60 minutes
28g 8.4 aau first gold @ 60 minutes
10g @ 10 minutes
Ibu 31
Abv 4.7

I have a similar "Use Up" brew planned for the next few days with:

1.50kg Maris Otter Malt
0.30kg Chocolate Malt
1.50kg Caramel Malt
2.0kg Crystal Malt

I'm using EKG as the bittering hops and Perle as the aroma hops.

I'm classing it as a Mild rather than a Porter but if it tastes okay I'll forget what it's called anyway! :lol: :lol: :lol:

All done. Volumes bang on og 1048. Sample jar tastes promising. Brew fridge pre heated to 19. Using SO4 for this one as I have a packet in the fridge dated March 18. ...
