Racist abuse aimed at football players will it ever stop?

Roger Ailes ran FOX some years ago and he's a scumbag. Don't know who's running the show now, don't really care. One of their top personalities had a known racist and sexist as his lead writer for the show.
The FOX machine's purpose is not a noble one. The TV personalities regularly campaign openly for Republicans, having dropped even the appearance of being unbiased.
Not Chris Wallace though.

I think this corona virus shows us that the tribal instinct is only just below the surface. Some of the small towns and villages refuse to serve non residents and hurl abuse, either on social media or verbally. Doesn't have to be racist, territorial is also a platform for abuse.
While every thing is hunky dory the tribal instinct is suppressed, but it doesn't take much to resurface.

The fact people were still panic buying essentials when they were told there was no need when this broke out show how selfish people can be and that's not a colour thing.
