So I plan to brew more this year and th out itd be a good idea to start a thread to document my brewdays as have others.

So my first brewday this year was 26th Jan. I brewed a Porter loosely based on the Yeastie Boys' Pot Kettle Black and have named it "Jackdaw Porter".

The brewday was actually streamlined and my 2 1/2 yr old daughter was very helpful (for a change)

I just bottled in on 13th Feb and it's now carbing and About to go into the garage to condition.

Got 19ltrs bottled. Hopefully it turns out ok as it's the first brew in about 6 months!

Next up I'm planning either a twist on Siren's $10 Shake or a re-brew of my Duckling Pale Ale which I'm hoping to do next week. [emoji16]

Looking good!

I should start drinking my beer from glasses like the one in the last photograph! I"m sure my liver would appreciate the change! :thumb:
Haha. It's a cool little glass. Just right for brew/bottling day to sample after taking a reading. [emoji16][emoji106]

Guinness tour was where it was "acquired". [emoji87]
