I was about to make my Redcurrant wine yesterday when i noticed a bag of sloes at the bottom of my freezer. Last year, due to someone turning off my chest freezer accidentally, I made a Sloe wine and not having enough for a full batch I added about 20% Redcurrants. The result was great, so this year I thought I'd try the reverse.

15 L Batch

5.1 kg Redcurrants
1.2 kg Sloes
4.0 kg Sugar
13L boiling water
3 Teaspoons Nutrient
3 Teaspoons Pectalose
Mangrove Jacks MA33 yeast.
