I’ve been fermenting in a Mk1 Fermentasaurus for a while, but I always just discard the yeast afterwards.

However, I’ve been using liquid yeast for English ales, and have recently bought a Mexican lager yeast (currently fermenting) and a NEIPA yeast in the fridge and was hoping to reuse both of these again (I have enough flaked maize and Liberty for another Mexican lager)

I got hold of another collection bottle - if I take the collection bottle from the Fermentasaurus when I keg, can I just cap the collection bottle and stick it in the fridge until I need to use it again (maybe make a starter with it), or is there anything else I need to do?

Also (probably one for @foxy), thinking about the future, are the mk1 collection bottles compatible with the Fermenter King and the Apollo?
