Has anyone ever used tinned rhubarb in a turbo cider?

Can you provide me with a recipe?

Thanks,

Shirley

I have some rhubarb TC on the go at the moment. But I used fresh rhubarb
I added 500g sugar to 800g of fresh cut rhubarb. and let it macerate overnight. Then I simmered it for about 20min. strained it through a sieve to give me 350ml of juice.
Added that to 4L apple juice and 150ml water.
This gave me a SG of 1.062.
I put it in my fermenting fridge for a week and the FG(?) was 1.003 (7.8%) so I racked it off and tried it. It was very sharp with a nice sharp rhubarb taste.
Decided to add the campdem tabs, stabilizer and finings along with 5 tsp of sweetener. Its now sitting clear a a window waiting to be bottled.
Hope this helps.

Tinned rhubarb,???? $$%$%^&*

Use fresh its 1000% better.

A nice rhubarb wine is delicious but you need to extract the juice cold with sugar to avoid issues with acid,

Plant some in your garden
Or if you don't have a garden,Plant some in the countryside,Today's kids will leave it alone as they wont know what it is.
