I have a packet of Styrian Goldings in my Freezer and I like the idea of doing a brew in memory of Graham Wheeler. What recipe did you use?

BrewersFriend have:
  • 4.25kg Maris Otter
  • 0.36kg Torrified Wheat
  • 30g Black Malt
  • All Mashed at +/-66*C for 90 minutes.
  • 30g EKG Leaf Boiled for 90 minutes.
  • 30g Styrian Goldings Pellets Boiled for 90 minutes.
  • 20g Styrian Goldings Pellets Boiled for 10 minutes.
  • Yeast (Nottingham?) Pitched and fermented at 19*C.
But another recipe I looked at didn't include the Torrified Wheat or the 90 minute boil time!
Many thanks.:gulp:

Hi Dutto,

That is the recipe I used, without the torrified wheat. The book quotes 90 minute mash time and boil time, but I couldn't find a specific yeast mentioned, I used CML real ale.

It's due to be bottled today.
