Run out of yeast... doh

Was planning a blackcurrant cider tomorrow night and got all the stuff to make it....

Then realised I used my last cider yeast with sweetener sachet (from ebay) 😯

Looks like I'll just have to use Mangrove Jacks this time, be interesting to see how dry it comes out 😀

Have you got any ale yeast kicking about, I've got some and meant to try it on my last plain TC but only remembered after I pitched the cider yeast

Nah but I bought some more on ebay and the boy is going to post it out tomorrow so with a following wind should get it on Sat and I'll make it up them..

Not tried my hand and ale etc unless you count a coopers lager kit I made (only cos it came with the starter kit) 😀

I mean fermenting the TC with an ale yeast, its supposed to make it really nice.
