Smod kindly gave me a bottle of his Crossbreed to try:
First of all I was drawn to the label on the bottle, the use of a post-it note for simplicity is superb :thumb:  The bottle had a nice strong hiss upon opening and I think that the carbonation of the beer was spot on. It was also nice and clear, it would easily pass a feck-test. This tastes to me like a summer session beer and would have been nice slightly cooler I think. Light on the tongue, very clean tasting but with a deep lingering bitterness which reminded me of a strong orange peel aroma. One down point that I picked up was a slight aftertaste that shouldn't be there, almost a bit chemically (sorry can't describe it better) it didn't really detract from what I thought was a nice beer, well put together and a good one to serve up in the summer!
Cheers Mate :thumb:
