I have 3 bottles full of the solution ATM, when I've drunk 3 more I'll just empty the one lot into the new ones and rinse out the first 3. I just keep going with this until the soda solution gets pretty brownish and frothy. Maybe 20 bottles worth each.
To mix up a fresh batch I put a funnel in a bottle, add a good amount of soda crystals and fill the bottle with water. I'm aiming for a solution that's saturated so there'll still be undissolved soda crystals in the bottom of it.
